Light House

how was your festive season? twinkly, sparkly?
did you have a christmas tree,
maybe a a couple of decorative lights sitting
in the window?

well next christmas try and top this.
the video below depicts the house of one
Carson Williams, an electrical engineer from Ohio.
his house had over 16,000 lights on it. all magically
synched to music (which kinda reminds me of the
Munsters).

the display was so popular it was used in a beer commercial
in 2005.

British Summer Time

the clocks have just come forward.

BST or british summer time is upon us.
so we lose an hour in bed (or playing with flashlights).
this is good because we will soon have to use less energy.
how much power will be saved over the next few months in the UK?

a lot.

it also has its downside. less darkness means that flashlight use will decrease considerably.
at least bulbboy might get more sleep over the next few months.
